Get the giggles at the Comedy Club for Kids, in celebration of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, ArtPlay is giving a master class in kids comedy with some of the Festival’s favourite comedians.

Whether they’re the class clown or just starting out, kids from 11 to 14 years can refine their routine or create a debut performance, guided by the funny folk we love to laugh at.

Working their wizardry as MCs will be Gordon Southern from the UK and Al Pitcher from New Zealand – both seasoned veterans at taming material for young minds aged five to 11. Stepping up with them are the incomparable Lawrence Mooney, The Amazing Mr Fish, Anna Pocket Rocket, Joel Ozborn and many, many more.

ArtPlay is a City of Melbourne initiative and Australia’s only arts centre especially for children, ArtPlay is driving Melbourne towards ever-greater heights of creativity with cutting-edge programs and dynamic professional
artists who encourage children up to the age of 13 and their families to explore a whole world of creativity.
