Now in its fourth year, The Light in Winter celebrates shared cultural experiences, bringing together artists, designers and communities to explore ideas of light, enlightenment and hope.

Directed by Robyn Archer, this free winter program will cast a warm glow over the grey skies of Melbourne, with a month-long series of light-based artwork, a mid-winter solstice celebration, community events and forums with leading illumination and digital artists. Federation Square will glow with a light that will be noticed around the world.
