1. Water Rat’s Nose is on Melbourne’s Generosity…

Water Rat ventured into the city to learn more about some of Melbourne’s charity, foundation and not-for-profit organisations’ special events in the lead-up to Christmas. It wasn’t long ‘til the Rat phone rang and Water Rat caught wind of the KidsUp Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Porta Villa Park in the Lyndarum Display Village. The aim of the picnic was to raise $20,000 to support 12-year-old Troy Van Heer, who lives with cerebral palsy. Troy’s family needs to modify their vehicle to help get Troy to and from school each day. Donations appreciated.

Water Rat spread his whiskers to ‘Mo’ Up ready for the Movember to support and raise funds for men’s health issues. Water Rat then enjoyed a splash of red on the way home (naturally for training) for the upcoming Variety Santa Fun Run that will be held to raise funds for special children in need on November 22.
