Finally, spring has sprung after what seemed like a really long and extremely cold winter. At long last it’s time to peel back the layers and pick out the pastels as spring fashion abounds.
We decided to take a different spin on Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and take a closer look at the correlations between the styles and colours of spring fashion 2010 and those of decades past. Spring fashion appears to have taken a nostalgic step back in time.
As part of MSFW, ACMI is presenting Fashion Icons on Film – focussing on four of the most profound and influential fashion designers of our time and how their work has and continues to shape the current international fashion houses.
We also bring you an interview with MTR’s Steve Price & Sam Newman as they talk back to Melbourne and with the lead up to the Commonwealth Games, 3008 chatted with Sharelle McMahon, captain of the Australian Diamonds about preparations and plans to bringing home the Gold.
We welcome internationally renowned Chef, Donovan Cooke to Docklands where he will assist with the opening of the upstairs dining room at the Woolshed Pub, we spoke about Donovan’s career to date and his big plans for Melbourne.
